It is hereby notified that under the provisions of Karnataka Judicial Service (Recruitment) Rules, 2004 and (Amendment) Rules, 2011, the High Court of Karnataka invites applications for direct recruitment to 211 posts of Civil Judges [the then Civil Judge (Junior Division)] which includes the existing and consequential vacancies.

Age Limit: Must not have completed as on the last date fixed for receipt of applications, 38 years of age in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe and 35 years of age in the case of others.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be holder of a degree in Law granted by a University established by Law in India and must have been enrolled as an Advocate.

Recruitment Notification | West Bengal District Judge Cadre Exam 2015

EXAMINATION FOR DIRECT RECRUITMENT FROM BAR TO THE CADRE OF HIGHER JUDICIAL OFFICER IN THE RANK OF DISTRICT JUDGE IN THE WEST BENGAL JUDICIAL SERVICE

Age Limit: Attained the age of 35 years and has not attained the age of 45 years on 01.01.2015
Eligibility: Practising for not less than seven years as an advocate as on 01.01.2015

Mode of Selection: A competitive examination will be held in Kolkata in last week of June, 2015, for selection of the District Judge. It shall be a two-stage process comprising the total marks - 600, consisting of written test on 5 papers of 100 marks each to be answered within 3 hours. The pass mark on each subject will be 40 and in addition to that, the candidates must obtain 50% on aggregate in order to be successful in the written test and further 100 marks are reserved for viva voce and personality test.
